Manual Handling Training

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 require employers to provide training for all their employees who are involved in the movement of loads. Manual handling is any task that involves a person moving any object from one position to another, using some kind of physical effort, which includes lifting, carrying, putting down, pulling or pushing, by hand or bodily force. Even the smallest movement can be classed as manual handling. It’s not just about lifting big heavy objects. This popular Manual Handling Training course is delivered nationwide and gives participants the skills required to carry out their work in a safe manner.
