Fire Escape Ladders

Overview

Fire Escape Ladders are an important means of exiting a building if smoke is filling the hallway and staircase. Smoke can render you unconscious within three breaths, so just running down a smoke filled staircase is not an option. The Fire Escape Ladder is rolled up with a plastic sheet which separates the layers and allows tangle free, rapid deployment. In an emergency, the ladder is simply clipped into eyebolts that are installed permanently beneath the window and allowed to unravel to the ground. The Fire Escape Ladder is supplied as standard with one pair of masonry bolts. It can be deployed from almost any window or opening. With the option to purchase additional bolt fitting sets, Fire Escape Ladders can be used in multiple locations depending upon the most suitable evacuation location at the time of an emergency. Fire Escape Ladders are suitable for two storey to five storey buildings. Chain sides are used on 4.2M and 7.0M ladders and are factory assembled. Wire sides are used on 9.0M to 15.0M ladders and are hand assembled.
