Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers

Overview

Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers are designed for use on Class F flammable cooking oil fires. Class F substances include butter, lard, margarine and sunflower oil. Wet Chemical is gently applied to hot oil using a lance type applicator which helps prevent oil splashing on to the user. It changes into a soap like substance which provides a blanket between the burning oil and oxygen so restricting the release of flammable vapours. It also creates a cooling blanket effect, smothering burning materials and preventing re-ignition.
