10 Year Battery Smoke Alarms

Overview

10 Year Battery Smoke Alarms have a sealed lithium battery pack which powers the alarm for the full lifespan of the sensor. The battery smoke alarm is fitted with a proprietary photoelectric sensor to quickly sense low energy smoke particles. This optical alarm is sensitive to all domestic fire types but is especially sensitive to smoldering fires. The smoke alarm is supplied with an easy to fit twist on base to facilitate quick and simple installation, combined with easy detector head removal and replacement. 10 year battery smoke alarms form part of a fire detection system and can be interconnected with other smoke and heat alarms situated along the escape routes. The alarm can be interconnected via hardwire or wirelessly with the addition of the Radiolink module to communicate with compatible alarms and accessories. Up to 12 devices can be interconnected. The smoke alarm automatically monitors the battery every 40 seconds. If it is depleted it will give a short beep every 40 seconds. The large Test and Hush button allows the user to check the operation of the smoke alarm. This will check the sounder, battery voltage and internal circuitry.
